Abstract :
In this paper, fundamental issues of networked control systems arc investigated. The communication constraints arc modeled as quantization and bit-rate limited channel. Observability and controllability of such system are introduced. Sufficient conditions for such system to be observable and controllable are provided. Lower bound on data rate of the channel that guaranteeing observability and controllability arc deduced.
