  • Abstract
During the development of gas reservoir, gas wells would produce water. The sources of water can be divided into condensate water, working fluid and formation water. The accurate determination of the source of water can be conductive to determine the reasonable yield and prevent early water breakthrough. When the gas energy is insufficient, the gas can not fully carry the fluid out of wellhead. It would occur the phenomenon of fluid loading. And the fluid loading would cause a substantial decline of the deliverability of gas wells. If it is not discovered and removed, gas wells may be flooding due to the accumulation of liquid. The paper proposes a series of measures to determine the source of water and whether there is fluid loading. Finally, we suggest the solution measures for liquid loading. It is significant to the development of gas reservoirs.
