Abstract :
We developed a composite metal-backed single layered electromagnetic wave absorber of (spinel-type Ni-Zn ferrite, SiO2 ) composite materials, which operates in the frequency region from 1 to 8 GHz. A composite ferrite with a suitable thickness has a higher absorption frequency range than a Ni-Zn ferrite and Ba ferrite absorbers. The center absorption frequency can be changed by changing the mixing ratio. The absorption band width is almost independent at the thickness of the composite ferrite in the wide range
