Abstract
The authors present the reflection and transmission characteristics of radio waves at the reinforced concrete (RC) slab of buildings. The purpose of this study is to formulate the reflection and transmission characteristics of RC slab at various realistic conditions, for the effective use of mobile communications systems inside and from outside to inside of buildings. The object frequencies for this study are about 300 MHz-3.5 GHz, considering such current mobile communication systems. They analyzed these characteristics by numerical and experimental methods
