Abstract :
We propose a novel integral imaging system using holographic optical element (HOE) which can provide multi-color 3-dimensional (3D) images. The optical properties of a lens array are recorded on a photopolymer using color multiplexing method with two different wavelength lasers (473 nm and 532 nm). The lens array HOE recorded on the photopolymer functions as 3D imaging HOE for integral imaging instead of the conventional lens array or concave mirror array. Recording scheme for color multiplexed HOE is presented and the proposed system is experimentally verified.
