Abstract :
The transmission S-parameters S21 between two dipole elements on a finite ground plane are calculated in horizontal polarization by using a hybrid method combining the geometrical theory of diffraction and the method of moments. The S-parameters are also measured using a network analyzer with the TRL calibration of a two-wire line to exclude the effect of the baluns. The results show that the S 21 may be a new measure in the evaluation of standard test sites to measure antenna factors
