Abstract :
The influence of an antenna directional properties on the EMC condition of a radio link is discussed. First, taking into account the functionally form of a radio link structure, the EMC aspect due to the directional properties of different antenna types, which is used in practice, is presented. Next, the principles of an antenna choice which are recommended for radio system planning procedure of the fixed and mobile radio link are described. The EMC problem of the cellular mobile radio network and the EMC properties of an adaptive antenna are analysed too
