Abstract :
Planar device technologies are particularly well suited to fabricating the components required for an all optical network. For example, planar versions of the multiplexer and de-multiplexer are already being deployed commercially. A Corning LOCTM phased array demultiplexer fabricated by flame hydrolysis is shown
