Abstract :
In this paper, we consider the blind equalization for long impulse response length, such as indoor sound. We use FIR or IIR filter for a conventional blind equalizer. But, these equalizers have each problems. A problem of the conventional blind equalizer using FIR filter is lower convergence rate, and a problem of blind equalizer using IIR filter is to have to control the stability of the system. Then, we propose a new blind equalizer algorithm using the orthogonal filter,and we get rid of these problems. Finally, we confirm the validity of the proposed algorithm through computer simulation.
