Abstract :
This paper introduces a novel single-stage PFC converter circuit which is combined by a PFC stage and a Dual-MOSFET forward DC/DC converter into one stage with shared switch and controller. Under the same controller circuit, it has the function of Boost PFC and conforms to the Dual-MOSFET Forward topological structure, greatly simplifying the circuit structure. A prototype has been built to verify the effectiveness of the proposed circuit. This circuit improves the efficiency and power density of the converter.
