Abstract :
The study was conducted through 2010 and 2011 seasons on three years old apple trees grown in sandy soil by micro-irrigation to study the effect of different irrigation treatments on water use, crop coefficient (Kc), and water use efficiency. The effect of irrigation levels on vegetative growth of trees, yield and fruit quality attributes was also determined. The results indicated that the water use of apple trees were 121.1, 182.6 and 244.1 mm for 2010 and 129.2, 192.7 and 256.3 mm for 2011 season for the FO.4, FO.6 and FO.8 treatments respectively.
