  • Abstract
    We derive a novel formulation to solve an important FIR filter optimization problem. The problem has received considerable attention in the past because it appears in a wide variety of disciplines. The newly proposed method finds the globally optimal solution to the problem and provides several other advantages over previous optimization techniques
