Abstract
One approach of solving the synthesis problems of adapted hybrid reflector antennas (HRA) is proposed. It consists of solving the synthesis problem of HRA according to the prescribed directivity pattern (DP) and the problem of forming the deep gap in the DP according to the given direction. The variational formulations for the synthesis problems are used. The mean-square deviation of the given magnitude and the synthesized one is chosen as the optimization criterion
