Abstract
A simple method for investigation of the scattered fields singularities is presented. It is shown how this technique can be applied to the synthesis problem of “well-matched” antenna with predefined pattern. The basic idea is that the wave field corresponding to the desired pattern must have a domain of singularities, and it is determined by these singularities in a unique way
