Abstract
A polarization diversity scheme is discussed, to which various space-time codes have been applied. Based on the two branch polarization diversity system, a theoretical model is presented for analyzing the system performance under various correlation conditions. Space block codes have been applied to the polarization diversity scheme. It has been found that with space-time codes, the system performance can be improved by 9 dB at bit error rate of 10-4
