Abstract :
This paper presents a realization of novel current-mode biquad using second generation current controlled conveyors (CCCIIs). The circuit is constructed with 3 multiple current output CCCIIs (MO-CCCIIs) and 2 grounded capacitors. The biquad can realize low-pass, band-pass, high-pass, band-stop and all-pass characteristics by suitably choosing the current output branches. The characteristic parameters can also be set orthogonally through adjusting the bias currents of the MO-CCCIIs and the grounded capacitors. The biquad enjoys very low sensitivities with respect to the circuit elements. An example is given together with simulated results by PSPICE.
