Abstract :
It has been shown that periodic slanting strip grating possesses guiding and anomalous properties. The dependence of guiding frequency on the geometrical parameters of gratings has been investigated. With the help of discrete isometric transform group of grating symmetry space, admissible solutions have been restricted and the existence of guiding and anomalous waves has been proved. Passband modes have been classified with the help of grating symmetry group. The fine structure of the spectrum has also been investigated
