Abstract :
Broad-band technique for an equal amplitude microstrip matched power divider is described in this paper. The symmetry of this circuit which is obtained by Wilkinson´s power divider allows the use of the method of odd- and even- mode excitations of the output ports and the use of exponential asymptotes provides multi-octave bandwidth. We discuss the frequency band of 2-13.5 GHz and 3-18 GHz in this paper. It can achieve good input VSWR and insertion losses over a broad bandwidth by two experiments with ADS.
