Abstract :
This paper proposes a new blind channel estimation scheme for the uplink of asynchronous MC-CDMA systems. Most of existing channel estimations, which are assumed to work in perfectly synchronization cannot be extended to the asynchronous system with time offset (TO). Our new scheme, however, can work for not only perfectly synchronized MC-CDMA system but also the asynchronous system with TO. Besides, this blind channel estimation can attain the optimal estimation in minimum mean square error (MMSE) sense by appropriately designing spreading codes, and show an improved performance in simulation.
