  • Abstract
    The telecommunication project SIBNET for Siberia is discussed. Specialists believe that the project will allow affective computer communication in the USA-Russia-China region through the American satellite communication system INTELSAT. The main executors of the project are the American company Datron Telecommunications International Inc., the firm “Horizon” from Shushenskoe, and the Tomsk firm “Tomteleport”. Several Siberian enterprises have announced the creation of a joint enterprise. These enterprises will organize the system of satellite communication in Siberia
