Abstract :
This paper discusses a design method and experimental results of a booster which is designed for use in pager systems. In order to reduce the coupling between the transmitter and receiver antennas this booster employs an adaptive canceling scheme that is a type of signal regeneration relay. A blind algorithm for canceling is derived using the minimum output power criterion. This paper proposes two stage canceling processed in the RF-band and baseband. An experimental equipment demonstrates that it can operate well under fluctuating coupling conditions. A field research, finally, verifies its effectiveness
