Abstract
The article deals with a detailed analysis of some aspects of solving the problem of acoustic and electromagnetic wave interaction in closed cavities. This necessity for this analysis is caused by the industry demand for more sophisticated and accurate methods of nondestructive material and media testing. Acoustic or electromagnetic waves are generally used for such diagnostics. The joint use of acoustic and electromagnetic waves opens new opportunities in this area
