            Abstract : 
This paper presents a simple and efficient approach to the analysis of waveguides and cavities using Fourier series. This formulation is broad-based and general allowing field solutions to problems in waveguides and cavities with a considerable computational advantage. Numerical results in the form of current distributions are presented to illustrate the theory
