Abstract :
Fatigue one of the major mechanical failure, has caught more and more attention in vehicle reliability study. Fatigue test results of vehicles are usually discrete, which is caused mostly by the user´s conditions. It is considered the user´s real purpose in the test, which can help the users to develop or design a suitable testing program, improve the test run quality and shorten the product development cycle from concept to bulk production. This article describes the ways and methods of investigating the user´s conditions, deals with the strain gauge data which is obtained from the test of the right steering link by using the professional signal processing software according to the reference of the survey results, and assesses the fatigue life of the steering link according to the rain-flow counting method and local strain-life fatigue analysis effecting on the strain spectrum finally.
