Abstract :
A novel simple CMOS current Schmitt trigger is presented. The circuit is characterized by simplicity and compactness and the independence of hysteresis from process parameters. The hysteresis is controlled by only one bias current and by a W/L radio. The circuit has been designed with a 2-μm CMOS process. The proposed circuit was tested by SPICE simulation, which indicates that it is suitable for high-speed operations. The circuit has an accuracy of 6 b
