  • Abstract
In this paper, a very efficient semi-blind algorithm for orthogonally coded multiple-input multiple-output orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing(MIMO-OFDM) systems is proposed. Our main idea is to establish a mathematical model that is based on orthogonal space-time codes, and then to estimate each subcarrier channel impulse response with this model. To speed up the convergence rate and the elimination of fuzzy channel, we insert a small amount of pilot signal at the transmitter. Simulation results prove that the algorithm effectively reduce the estimation error, no special requirements on the transmitted signal, and no increasing the transmission bandwidth.
