Abstract :
We investigate in detail the intermolecular spectrum of CCl4 . It is demonstrated that, in addition to the 200 fs relaxation that previously had been identified with a collision-induced intensity, the intermolecular dynamics of this liquid exhibit a 1.9 ps exponential decay, and also evidence for a third, intermediate-timescale relaxation
