Abstract :
In this paper a modification of a recently proposed model simplification method for linear time invariant parameterized models is presented. It is able to obtain models with explicit parameter dependence. The method is based on convex optimization with semidefinite constraints. Computation of the reduced model requires only the frequency samples of the full one, hence it is possible to apply the methods to large-scale models. Numerical examples showing the drawbacks and the advantages of the method are also presented.
