Abstract :
In this paper, on the basis of communication process two Stochastic Petri Net (SPN) models are constructed to analyze the performance of LEO Satellite Networks with one user and two users respectively. Then, the effect of arrival rate on average time delay is also analyzed by solving the linear equations from corresponding isomorphic Markov Chains of the SPN model under different parameters. The proposed approach of modeling and performance evaluation has great benefit to the design and performance optimization of satellite networks.
