Abstract :
The molecular stacking and the number of molecules in a one dimensional J-aggregate were determined by means of electrooptic (EO) effects studied by dichroic electromodulation spectroscopy. The sample was the oriented films dispersed with J-aggregates of tetraphenyl porphine tetrasulfonic acid (TPPS)
