Abstract :
Cold-formed thin-wall steel structure has so many advantages such as high strength and low weight that this kind of structure is used in building constructions more and more. Joint is one of the most important parts of the structure which play the key role for support-load and safety of the whole structure. Once the joints are destroyed, no matter how good the performance of the structural components, they will no longer play roles. Study was done on four different kinds of joints based on experiments and finite element analysis. The moment-rotation relationship, the stress distribution and the bearing capacity had been analyzed. Some beneficial conclusions were got.
