  • Abstract
Because of the applicability, sprayer equipment is widely used in the coal face. Considering that present spray equipments used in fully-mechanized face are very huge, inconvenient, expensive, fragile and of poor effect, it is subject to many restrictions on field applications. In response to these shortcomings, a new light sensor controllable onboard spraying dust-removal system in fully-mechanized coal face was developed. The system consists of sensors, solenoid valves, console power supply boxes, nozzles and other devices. Through on-site experiments, the total dust removal efficiency at 10m at the shearer leeward of the mining driver was up to 93%, respirable dust removal efficiency at 10m at the shearer leeward of the mining driver was up to 90%. The results indicate that the system has good dust control effects and worth popularizing.
