Abstract
Wireless Sensor Networks have been proposed for a multitude of location-dependent application. Solutions in range free localization are being pursued as a cost-effective alternative to more expensive range-based approaches. In this paper, we present an improved midnormal-based localization algorithm. Compared with its former scheme MBLA, our scheme performs with less compute overhead and improve the precision of position estimation. Simulation results show that the improved algorithm can enhance the localization efficiency.
