Abstract :
Proposes an artificial neural-net-based method for controlling nodal voltage in power systems. The nodal voltages are controlled in a decentralized way due to the local characteristics of the problem. A decentralized scheme for voltage control is proposed with artificial neural networks. The proposed method allows alleviation of the curse of dimensionality in power systems and makes the computation more efficient. The proposed method has been tested in a 30-node system in terms of computational effort
