Abstract :
This paper discusses an online PLC status monitoring and fault diagnosis system on PC for the steel tube mill of Bao-steel Works. The system can be incorporated in portable PCs to serve as a tool for PLC system monitoring or connected into a PC network to realize the centralized monitoring of the whole workshop. The paper describes the software function and its developing steps, and also gives a typical layout of the network
