Abstract :
Capacity assessment of the structural progressive collapse and progressive collapse design are based on structural progressive collapse analysis, analysis methods include linear static, nonlinear static, linear dynamic and nonlinear dynamic. In this paper, Progressive collapse analysis method in GSA collapse resistance design guideline was first introduced. On the basis of the design efficiency and practicality, alternate path method static linear analysis in GSA guide was decided to use in this paper. PKPM software was used to design five-story reinforced concrete frame which design parameters was given. SAP2000 software was also used to create a calculation model which was based on the reinforcement information that gets from PKPM. And then, we need to set the appropriate load cases and analysis cases in order to achieve the purpose that five-story reinforced concrete structures was designed by our country´s existing norms will be analyzed by progressive collapse analysis. Finally, according to the progressive collapse-resistant behavior indicators DCR values to investigate its ability in progressive collapse resistance.
