Abstract :
This paper studied problems of lake wetland in Jianghan Plain, which contained serious flood disaster, number of lakes reduction and area atrophy, lake pollution and deterioration of water quality, decrease of biodiversity and endangered rare species. Then, the reasons were analyzed and some solutions were promoted. The solutions were as follows: (1)Enhancing the research and monitoring work in wetland, (2)Establishing the thought of comprehensive treatment and unified planning management, (3)Making laws and enforcing the law strictly and raising wetland protection awareness of the public, (4)Carrying out the project of restoring farmland to lake and farmland shelterbelt networks, and restoring the ecological system function of wetland, (5)Adjusting the structure of industrial and agricultural production and developing the ecological agriculture, (6)Establishing nature reserve network systems to protect biodiversity in Sihu region.
