Abstract :
This work presents a compact, efficient, magnetic-less bi-directional DClDC converter for the dual 42/14 V automotive systems. Compared with the traditional converter, the proposed converter uses the same number of devices but with no or minimal inductance requirement. The main circuit of the DClDC converter is analyzed and its control scheme is presented in the paper. Simulation results and a 1 KW prototype verify the analysis and demonstrate the advantages.
