Abstract :
Sensor networks are already being used in a wide range of application domains such as environment, medical, military and transportation etc. Along with the widespread use of sensor networks, the data management becomes important. This paper proposes a distributed data management system of heterogeneous sensor networks which integrates data processing, visualization and performance measurement. The system uses dynamic data collection and distributed data storage methods which can reduce the energy cost. And the protocol independent message communication mechanism enables developers to reuse the system to any other underlying routing protocols. Finally, the adoption of distributed and hierarchical architecture makes the system scalable and convenient to deploy.
