Abstract :
This paper presents a new automation algorithm for parameter commissioning of AC motors, which is based upon the method using the characteristics of the controller and Walsh function analysis. By investigating the distortion of controller output resulting from parameter error and evaluating through Walsh function analysis, the proposed adaptation process can achieve the commissioning of AC motors automatically. In this paper, a waveform distortion index (WDI) according to type of AC motors and their parameters are decided. To prove the effectiveness of the proposed automatic parameter commissioning algorithm to real industrial fields experimental verifications are achieved
