  • Abstract
    Collaborative simulation technology has become the powerful tool and important measure to do design and simulation, optimization and innovation of the complex product represented by mechanical product. The basic concept and types of collaborative simulation are proposed, then collaborative simulation requirements for mechanical product are analyzed, the general method to realize collaborative simulation of mechanical product and its application characteristics are summarized. The key technology, such as: simulation modeling and related technology, simulation operation technology, verification, validation and accreditation, and the test and evaluation technology of modeling and simulation, the development of collaborative simulation platform and so on, are mainly introduced. Finally, the existing problems in the present and perspective of collaborative simulation are discussed.
