  • Abstract
    Spontaneous emission is one of the important noise sources in semiconductor laser amplifiers (SLAs). In this paper we analyze the dynamic behavior of this phenomenon in SLA based on numerical solution of the carrier and field rate equations. From the numerical results we obtain the evolution of the gain and amplified spontaneous emission dynamics which presented for the first time.
