Abstract
Warning tidal level is a key technical indicator in marine disaster prevention. Base on the ocean observing station´s minutely data files, a solution to tidal level warning system is proposed in this paper. By I/O completion port and ReadDirectoryChangesW function, the new arriving data files can be detected in real time. Further, measured tide value can be extracted from data file according to the minutely data file´s format. Last, the measured tide value will be compared with the preset warning value to judge whether it exceed the warning stage. For illustration, the effect of tidal level warning system along China north-sea coast is shown. Empirical results show that the solutions proposed by this paper can process a batch of data files in real time, and meet the requirement of marine disaster prevention.
