Abstract :
In this paper, some new results on nonlinear H control for affine nonlinear systems are developed. Although the HJI inequality derived in H control is not easy to solve, for some nonlinear systems, by using some variable replacement or choosing a suitable penalty variable, the inequality can be turned to be an algebraic inequality. A design procedure of nonlinear H excitation controllers for power systems is given
