Abstract :
An adaptive modulation and coding (AMC) scheme with Low-Density Parity-Check (LDPC) is first proposed for mobile satellite communication system. The transmitter adjusts modulation schemes according to current channel information while keeping a constant transmission power. The adaptive scheme can provide a good trade off between power efficiency and spectral efficiency.
