Abstract :
Under an image scaling transform, the energy of two local interaction models displays power scaling. The scaling exponents range from 0.4 to 3.17, with a typical value of 1.74. There are also crossovers in this power scaling. The exponents vary from image to image, reflecting image edge, surface, and texture characteristics and can be used as image signatures
