Abstract
In this paper, to increase normalized throughput of pulse position modulation (PPM) in the optical CDMA system, the optical Multi-pulse PPM (MPPM) system with modified pseudo orthogonal M-sequence sets is proposed. Result from theoretical analysis of bit error rate (BER) performance of the proposed system is also presented. Consequently, the normalized throughput and BER of the proposed system are better than those of the conventional MPPM system with the pseudo orthogonal M-sequences. Furthermore, BER of the proposed system is also superior to those of the conventional systems.
