Abstract
In this paper AWG is optimized for its applications in optical-signal processing and OCDMA network. With the new method of optimization proposed here, higher frequency resolutions can be achieved without increase in dimension of the device. The procedure of optimization for finding the best length of array arms is presented and the results are discussed.
