Analysis of the Status Quo and the Reasons for Students´ Political Participation in the Period of the Social Transformation

Political participation is not only an important way for college students self-education but also an important way of political socialization. Combination of case interviews and analysis by issuing a questionnaire and conducting field surveys in the three universities in Luohe City, combined with case interviews and analysis, the article reveals basic conditions of the contemporary college students ´political participation and its influencing factors, trying to enrich thje theory of college students´ political socialization.
