Abstract :
There have existed massive studies on the obvious non-equilibrium of energy efficiency, but the influence of space dependency of energy efficiency has been neglected and the urban geographical unit has not been efficiently investigated. By the application of the panel data of China´s 210 main prefecture-level cities from 1995 to 2006, this paper, first of all, measures the energy efficiency in China´s main prefecture-level cities by DEA model which has a unchangeable return to scale, then, through space panel data model, the paper investigates the influence of spatial correlation of urban energy efficient on area distribution of energy efficiency.
